A stamp to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Abarth

Abarth is turning 70 and a commemorative stamp will be issued for the Abarth Days 2019, the international gathering of all Abarth fans to commemorate the milestone of the Scorpion.

The stamp depicting the official 70th anniversary logo was created by the San Marino Philatelic Numismatic Office. With a print run of 60,000 and each one worth 1.60 Euro, the stamp is a collector's item that portrays the unmistakable Scorpion emblem and a chequered flag in tribute to the many racing victories of the Italian brand.

The commemorative stamp is the latest addition to the series of accolades honouring the first 70 years of the brand with the Scorpion badge that kicked off with the launch of the "70° Anniversario" commemorative range, the Abarth 595 esseesse inspired by the 1960s turning kit and the limited edition Abarth 124 Rally Tribute to honour the many victories of the Abarth 124 rally in 2018.

The anniversary celebrations will culminate with the Abarth Days 2019, the largest European gathering of fans to be held on October 5 and 6 in the futuristic "Milan Innovation District" (MIND). Participants from all over Europe will enjoy two days packed with fun, excitement and adrenaline in the best Abarth style and will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the brand all together. There is more because a big surprise will be in store for everyone. More information on the event can be found on the website: https://www.abarth.com/scorpionship/eventi/abarth-day-2019.
