The New Abarth 695 70 Anniversario, explore it through augmented reality

On the occasion of the birthday of its founder Carlo Abarth, the Abarth brand launches a new App - "Abarth AR 695" - bringing to life the New Abarth 695 70° Anniversario in augmented reality. An app that invites users to admire the 3D model of an exclusive limited edition in high definition and in 1:1 scale

Today, on the birthday of its founder Carlo Abarth - born in Vienna on November 15, 1908 - the Scorpion brand unveils "Abarth AR 695", its new App. Through its augmented reality technology, the app offers users an immersion in and around this exclusive limited edition car, a celebration of Abarth's anniversary, revealing the new Spoiler ad Assetto Variabile.
The App is available in the main markets of the EMEA area and can be downloaded directly on devices from Apple Store or Google Play following these link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fca.abarthar and https://apps.apple.com/app/abarth-ar-695/id1482772529, a novelty that confirms Abarth's engagement with today's technological scenario.
"Abarth AR" exemplifies the evolution of yesterday's product catalogs, allowing easier consultation and immediate updating, as well as offering an extraordinary digital experience on-board the new Abarth 695 70° Anniversario.

1:1 scale
Let's look at it in more detail: the new "Abarth AR 695" App enables users to display a life-sized version of the car wherever they are. All they have to do is frame a spacious area with their device's camera to position the 3D model on a scale of 1: 1, contextualized and proportionate to the surrounding space. Users will be able to move around the car, observing it at 360°. They can open the car's doors to explore the interior, move the new Spoiler ad Assetto Variabile, sound the horn and accelerate to hear the roar of the most powerful engine in the range: the 1.4 liter turbocharged engine with 180 hp and torque of 250 Nm.

The breathtaking level of detail and image quality convinces users that they are standing beside the Abarth 695 70° Anniversario, an extraordinary special series car celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Abarth & C. brand. A homage to the inventiveness of the founder Carlo Abarth, the first to realize the potential of carrying out technical upgrades on normal production cars. As well as this magic, the App "Abarth AR 695" also allows users to create personalized photos, posed beside the virtual car positioned in their preferred spot, to share with friends through their social profiles.

We should remember that the new App "Abarth AR 695" continues the path begun by the brand in 2017, with the AR application dedicated to the Abarth 124 spider. Abarth was the first FCA brand to propose such digital novelty, whose success was demonstrated by over 4,000 downloads and more than 150,000 interactions on the Apple Store.

"Follow the Scorpion"
And finally, to celebrate the birthday of Carlo Abarth, a new animated logo is added to the collection, carrying forward the "Follow the Scorpion" communication project. This show of vivacious creativity celebrates one of the most important events on the Abarth calendar: the birthday of its founder, Carlo Abarth. For the occasion, an animated subject was generated featuring a stylized scorpion sign of the zodiac, the brand's historical symbol. The logo outline comes to life inside a starry sky that lights up to form the shield, while a powerful sound effect highlights its formation, emphasizing the brand's dynamic and innovative spirit.
